I first heard about Neoxa and their revolutionary new way of "mining" crypto, called Proof of Gaming (PoG), having read Publication from @Patch at the end of August.
Crypto that you "dig" by playing is called $NEOX and is the native token of the Neoxa blockchain.
Neoxa currently only offers the Proof of Gaming earning mechanism for the games Rust and Minecraft , planning to add Grand Theft Auto .
The game I decided to play was Rust, as I already love the game and have been obsessed with it for years.
I also plan to try Minecraft in the future as I appreciate the more relaxed and calm gameplay compared to an intense survival game like Rust.
Neoxa claims to be " the first and only blockchain-proof cryptocurrency to implement a monetization mechanism for existing video games ".

To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about the project and whether I should have downloaded at all the Neoxa wallet/programme .
But when I didn't get my payment at midnight like I expected, I started to get nervous.
I say I expected it because Neoxa supposedly pays out the rewards for "digging" every 24 hours, and when they talked to another player in the game, they said that payments are usually made at 12am local time.
I was starting to become quite sure I wasn't going to get my payout.
Then, after what seemed like years of waiting, I breathed a sigh of relief when I received my payout of almost 100 $NEOX; which amounts to about $0.25.
Not bad for just an hour of playing a video game.
I'll definitely be playing more Rust and digging crypto while I do it!
