All you have to do is create a website and start selling your e-book. Now you must be wondering, as easy as it sounds, creating an online store can be quite challenging. But you'll soon learn that it's actually a pretty easy process that doesn't require a lot of technical know-how and high-level experience. We've put together a guide to help bring your dream of selling your book a little closer.


Step 1: Create a website
The first thing you need is website , where you will showcase and sell your book. To create one, you need to sign up for a hosting platform that, as the name suggests, “ hosts' your website. Basically, this is where your website and all of its data resides. There are several hosting services available, both free and paid, to help you get started. Some of them including:
- Hostinger – the cheapest hosting option (free / paid: 0.80 $ / month)
- Bluehost – Best Uptime Hosting ($ 2.75 / monthly)
- HostGator Cloud – Most unlimited hosting ($ 2.99 / month)

Once you've decided and signed up for a hosting platform, you can go ahead and start building your website. To create a website, you will need website building services such as WordPress, Squarespace, Weebly and many others available in the market today. Our recommendation will be WordPress simply because of its flexibility and available options. For convenience, we will use WordPress as an example throughout the article.
Most hosting websites will have the ability to automatically integrate and set up a WordPress account. Once you integrate it, you will be able to log into your personal WordPress admin page. This is where you create / edit your website.
Once logged in, you can add pages / content to your website.
Step 2: Set up a store
Once your website is created. You need to create an online store where you can sell your e-book.
To do this, you will need a plug-in called Easy Digital Download (EDD). IN Plugins -> Add Plugins Option you should look for EDD. Go ahead and install + Activate the plugin.




Step 3: Set up the store
Once you activate the plugin, you will start seeing the option to download in the sidebar.


In this section, select Add new, which will add a new product to your store. You can add photos, description, price and upload your e-book that you would sell here.


If you are selling more than one book, you can continue to choose Add new and add as many books as you like. All your added products / drafts can be viewed in the option All downloads .


Step 4: Editing options for your store
After adding products to your store, you can edit additional options like payment, currency, taxes, buttons, etc.
Go to Downloads -> Settings, for to edit these settings.


Step 5: Set up a Bitcoin wallet
