TON (The Open Network) is a blockchain platform originally developed by the team behind Telegram, the popular messaging app. Here are some key aspects of TON:
Origin and development:
Originally called the Telegram Open Network, TON was created by Nikolai and Pavel Durovi, the founders of Telegram.
The project aimed to facilitate fast and secure transactions and provide a platform for decentralized applications (dApps).
TON blockchain:
The TON blockchain uses a unique multiblock architecture designed for high performance and scalability.
It has a dynamic patterned mechanism that allows it to process millions of transactions per second.
Cryptocurrency (Toncoin):
Toncoin (formerly known as Gram) is the native cryptocurrency of the TON network.
It can be used for transaction fees, betting and various decentralized applications within the TON ecosystem.
Basic functions:
Speed and scalability: TON aims to offer extremely fast transactions and the ability to work with a large number of users and dApps.
Smart Contracts: The platform supports complex smart contracts that allow various applications, from decentralized finance (DeFi) to games.
Decentralized storage and services: TON includes components such as TON Storage and TON Services, providing decentralized storage solutions and services similar to traditional cloud services, but in a decentralized manner.
Regulatory challenges:
In 2020. The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed a lawsuit against Telegram, claiming that its ICO (initial offering of coins) for Gram tokens is an unregistered offering of securities.
As a result, Telegram terminated its participation in the TON project and the development of the network was taken over by independent developers and the community.
Current status:
Despite the legal problems facing Telegram, the TON community and independent developers continue to work and improve the network.
The network remains active, with continuous development and a growing ecosystem of applications and services.
A study of TON mini-applications began with the obvious – games :
Hamster Combat
I came across a bunch of „ tapping games “ in TON and I was wondering what they like... I find the constant touch of the screen extremely annoying, and we do it all the time.
Fortunately, tapping profits are just peanuts when you play Hamster Kombat. The lion's share of daily profits comes from various cards that add to your profit / hour. In addition, these crypto-themed cards can be upgraded to bring even more passive prey.

Other ways to win these coins include the main options for following X, watching videos on YouTube and more. Quite a nice game in my opinion and fortunately not so addictive. The most interesting part is that they have not yet dropped and dropped their coin, but once they do, it is quite obvious that it will fall on the right users. Since the launch of the $ NOT coin of TON, I will not underestimate these cute little applications, but the downside is that Hamster Kombat it's probably really too grown and we may be a little late with that ... Still, it's a fun game to some extent.
Catizen
Another game, but a little more annoying. This mini-applied manga style game somehow scared me in the beginning – so many strange things are happening everywhere. Still, the basic rules of the game look very simple: combine cats with the same level to upgrade them to better winning cats.
Very often the door will open and people will enter to lift cats into the air, and coins will explode everywhere. to know.
In addition to all this, you can also go fishing and meet some familiar faces like the dog $ DOGE and the friendly frog $ PEPE.

Catizen there is not only one, but 4 token in the game: $ vKITTY, FishCoins, $ wCATI and $ xZEN. However, I have not yet figured out how to withdraw them in my TON wallet or whether it is possible at all at the moment.
Strange as Katizen may seem, they have an impressive number of daily users (1.6 million out of a total of 24 million users). In addition, their good looking website includes the doxed team and a list of well-known partners.
Tonkeeper
After all the madness, it's time to introduce you to the TON wallet I used — Tonkeeper.
Honestly, Tonkeeper was the first to test since he was presented on this page to study TON as number 1 in the portfolio category.
With that in mind, I was really happy with it. Tonkeeper reminds me of the Phantom wallet and is very easy to set up, works on Android and iOS and has the option to expand to Chrome.
So far, I've been able to connect to all of Telegram's mini-applications with ease, and the signing process has been pretty fast. Just like Phantom, Tonkeeper also has this browser feature that helps us find new useful applications.
Simple but good.
BONUS : Snapster Trading Bot
As I mentioned, we may be a little late with Hamster Kombat, so I'm constantly looking for TON applications that look promising and just released or are in beta.
Snapster Trading Bot seems to focus on trading memes and why not, memes are and will be something, whether we want it or not. The best thing about this is that it is still in the waiting list stage, which means that you can only do a few things, such as daily entries, etc. You may still want to check it out.

Conclusion
I am quite impressed by how easily and seamlessly everything works between my wallet and the apps (bots) of TON Telegram. While writing this, I also learned about the Telegram wallet option integrated into Telegram, and I need to take a closer look at that as well.
As for the games ... I don't rely on airdrops, so I won't spend hours and hours grinding them. Given this, those I've played don't require this – check once or twice a day is probably enough.
My TON journey continues. Then I'll bury myself deeper in Defi's apps and stuff ... by the way, did you know that there's a TON dating app? 🙂
Current Airdrops :
